Painting Over Steel Siding

Repeat the procedure until you cover all the steel siding. Then put the paint of your desired color in the rolling pan and cover your paint roller with the paint. Everbrite is a clear coating that will restore the original color and finish of your metal siding.

When this happens the metal is exposed to the elements and will start to eventually rust. To clean steel siding add trisodium phosphate or tsp to the paint sprayer and clean off any grime with it. As long as the siding is clean you won t need to use a primer unless raw metal is exposed. Finally since metal is such a good heat absorber avoid painting siding while it s getting direct sunlight.

If you wiped your hand across it you d draw back a dirty yellow palm. Since any of this is clearly bad for your metal siding it is vital that you re paint your metal siding.
